Baptismal Coordinators

I saw water flow from the side of the temple, Alleluia!

Families Helping Families

The baptismal coordinators are a small group of parishioners who work to assist young families getting their babies baptized. Baptisms take place at regular Sunday Masses on a rotating monthly schedule. The co-ordinator comes to church early and meets the families (up to four babies may be baptized at a Mass), helps them get seated and makes sure they have eveything needed for the ceremony. They then help guide them through the ceremony, especially in knowing where to walk and when. Many of our Baptismal Coordinators were themselves recipients of the same care at one time so they know exactly how it is to be in a young family with little babies . . . and all that entails!

The ministry coordinator is Michele Hoople - please contact her if you are interested in this ministry.
