Small Ensembles at Every Mass
It has long been the practice at St. Margaret Mary to have small ensembles of singers and musicians rather than the more common ‘Cantored Mass’. Joining a small ensemble is a good solution for someone who wants to be involved in music but does not want the more rigourous commitment of being in a formal choir. We have an open rehearsal on Wednesday nights from 7:30 until about 8:30 PM - generally the 7 AM Mass ensembles meet at 7:30 PM and the 11 AM ensembles meet at 8 PM, although anyone can come to either rehearsal if the wish.
As with all adult groups, a simple audition is required to join a small ensemble.
